From the moment you enter our property upon our winding, tree-lined ¼ mile driveway, you are transported into another world. Hunterdon Hills Playhouse is situated among a natural 90-acre Arcadian oasis. Set back from main roads and civilization in a secluded wooded wonderland, our property is an attraction unto itself!

We are surrounded by towering oaks and majestic evergreens, while an attractive variety of flowering trees punctuate the landscape. Artfully arranged and placed multicolored flower beds blossom among impeccably manicured lawns.

Each season offers its own distinct delights: The crisp, quiet frosts of winter lead into a spring bursting with pastoral life; the deep green lushness of summer eventually becomes exploding fireworks of color in autumn trees. Scenic photo opportunities abound in every direction and there are convenient walking and sitting areas sprinkled about, from which to enjoy different vantage points.

When you are able to sit for any length of time in such bucolic beauty; as deer, rabbits and squirrels frolic in the surrounding forests; as ducks, geese, heron—and sometimes even swans, drift upon the cool, calm water of our sizeable, shimmering lake; as butterflies silently flutter passed you…stress seems to melt away and you are enveloped by a pleasing sense of serenity and contentment, and you realize that you are in a place where you wouldn’t mind spending a lot of time.
