The Atrium
Our Entry Lobby and adjoining Atrium Room provide the perfect, welcoming effect as you enter Hunterdon Hills Playhouse. Surrounded by pleasingly striking country elegance with stellar skylights overhead, an unbeatable atmosphere greets guests as they arrive on our premises.
The ambrosial appeal of the Atrium Room with its airy, high ceilings, lush greenery and floor-to-ceiling windows, makes it the most popular area at our facility. Spectacular scenic vistas provide a breathtakingly pastoral backdrop and seem to bring the outside in, while multiple sliding glass doors open onto the adjacent patio terrace overlooking our glistening, serene lake providing convenience for those wishing to take advantage of the fresh bucolic air.
Outdoor tents can also be rented and placed just off of the Atrium to provide additional party space.
An accessible hexagon-shaped bar--custom-made with fine tongue and groove birch, an ample section of polished slate (which can be used as an exquisite dance floor) directly under the magnificent grand skylight and a superb black baby grand piano, further enhance this space, making it ideal for cocktail hours and/or parties for up to 100 guests.
You also won't hear a lot of other venues boasting about their restrooms, but our impressive Ladies Room is larger than some apartments. With its Entry Lounge, Vanity Room, Washroom, and two Powder Rooms containing 22 enclosed commodes, guests will never have to wait on a line to freshen up.
